What are the main features of Fast Key

It sounds like it is standard on the 09 Ralliart, i tried doing a search and did not find much. I apologize if this was the wrong section, i didn't think fast key qualified for alarm/stereo or engine performance.

Ive read that with Fast Key, if the Key is in your pocket it or close enough the car, you can grab the door handle to unlock the car.

Say you leave your key inside the car and its locked, can you grab the handle and unlock the car?

What about the start system? Do you still turn to start the car or is there a "Start Engine" button?

Any info you can discuss is appreciated, i apologize if this is the wrong section.

It's a wireless key, has proximity sensor where if your like 5ft away you touch the button it unlocks. If you walk away it can also re-lock it for you, instead of key theres just a nub you turn to start it. I believe it has the manual override key as well as it should. As far as locking it within the car I don't believe you can, on the Lexus ones if the key is inside you can only lock if you have the ignition engaged, if the key is near the car it just assumes your either entering or exiting

Thanks for the info, what that question about the key being in the car, say you locked your keys inside the car, would you be able to grab the handle and unlock it?

Based on what you said it would be possible to open the door and get the key out. I think you answered my question but im not sure

If the key's in the car, the doors aren't locked.

if you go to lock the doors (there's a lock button by the handle) with the key inside, it won't let you.

in the event that your key battery dies, there's a "normal" key that slides out. the cap on the key ignition comes off if you need to use the "normal" key.

there's also the regular lock, unlock, open the trunk and panic buttons on the key.

Wouldn't it be the same anyway? Stealing a key to the car either way it is going to get them into the car.

I love "high 5's" LOL

I love it, I wish my Honda store would adopt these... Should be standard on all cars...

Your its standard on the ralliart? You need the SSS pkg on the evo to get it
