My brother and I have a project EVO 8 with a third pedal and all I use it for is to drag.

If your buying a new car I take it that it is going to be your daily driver becuase if you wanted a track car then I hope you wouldn't buy a new car.

Do you really want to be manually controlling everything when going to Work/School.
Out with a girl HINT HINT.....

There is only but so many things you can do with your hands and feet in a car lol.

NO OFFENSE TO ANYONE.
I dont' know about you but I have no problem with girls and this "third pedal" you talk about... Doesn't hinder me at all, in fact most girls I have run into want to learn how to drive stick. Granted I don't show them, I have no problem with them next to me in the car... or leaning over the center console if ya know what I mean

Not all of us have the liberty to have a project designated car. I'm 22 yrs old and I just got a project gvr4...

anyways that's off topic. to the OP see if you can grab some photo's of the system out of the car during the reinstall.

So, I guess ,for now, I am just counting the days to where I get my third pedal back.
damn you are in the same boat as i am. i had an Evo 9 SE for 10 days before the dealer took the car back. They told me I had to go back in to finish the paperwork, and thats when they told me. I seriously wanted to kill someone. From now on, I make sure I'm financed before I leave with the car.

It gives you that much more control over the car, which some like.

You'll never have the same control over the car as with having control over the clutch; but hey some of us are content with redic fast shifts and not being as annoyed in rush hour traffic. Once again, it's all about preference.

It's called planning ahead and getting in the gear you want before you unzip your pants.
