That's my only hangup with the fast key system. It's TOO convenient lol. You just keep it on you and forget about it, tends to lead to things like that. Especially for absent minded people like me.

 

dude just get it; there's nothing wrong about the key; that junk has a brain of its own


one day I was going in to playing raquetball with the wifey and I took the fast key, locked the car and dropped it in the bag where I keep all the raquetball gear... then I popped the trunk and threw the bag in there... soon as i closed it I yelled "F**K!!!!" lol cause I locked the key in the trunk, and that was the only one I had at the time and we were about 8 miles away from home!

Well the car started beeping hysterically (sort of like telling me: you idiot!) and unlocked all the doors!!!!

that was magic!!!! and I felt good

 

Yeah can't lock the key inside the vehicle, it won't let you.

As for the FAST key and the regular key, they are 2-in-1. The regular key is set inside the FAST key, no worries.

 

My fast key is on my keychain which has a leatherman multi-tool, flash light, 6 other keys, attached to an industrial carabiner with 4" of bicycle chain. The key (pun intended) is to make it so obtrusive that you can never forget about it, like my in-laws.



Has anyone tried to leave the keys inside with the driver side window DOWN, lock all the doors, then quickly blip the auto-up driver side window button and pull your hand out?
