I'm usually confident to drive at least 40 miles easy.

 

on a recent long trip i had my fuel light come on... guage read zero fuel left... the BIG fuel pump was flashing on the display ..... i went for about 75k before i hit the next available fuel station...when i fueled up i put in 51 liters. i know before i get ripped on... yes its bad for the fuel pump to go that low... but i got caught in an area with no service for xxx km, and misjudged the rate of consumption. long story short... after u lose that lil fuel gauge and that big pump with the arrow starts flashing i went approx 75km and still had 4 litres left in the 55L tank.... oh and it was highway driving around a sustained 2350-ish rpm .... cruise control locked in.
