Aftermarket stereo+wheel control

Does anyone know if there is a way of making the steering wheel control work with an aftermarket deck.
If it helps, i've got a pioneer avic f series
Thanks

It all depends on what type of HU you buy. I purchased the Pioneer DEH-7000BT HU which has built-in bluetooth. I have the PAC SWI-PC adapter and I am able to make/receive/end calls using the steering wheel controls.
