EVO or RA?

Im stuck at a road block guys. If you had to choose which one would you choose. I have been in love with an evo since 2003 and:

I was looking at a new 2011 Evo x GSR for 29.5-32k

or

New 2011 RA for 24k

The RA is a lot cheaper so thats why I was looking at it but I dont know my heart still says EVO EVO EVO. Money is kinda tight that's why I need some advice on what you guys think.

Dont settle. Wait until you have sufficient funds for an evo if that is what you really want.

you obviously havent driven the evo... or either of them for that matter. go drive the ralliart then the evo (or just the evo) and youll know which one youll need to have.

evo. hands down.

You won't be happy if you settle and then you just wasted 24k. Save up the funds.

EVO > RA.
This.... I bought a new RA thinking it would be "good enough since just daily driver"... It bugged me continually until, after only 6 months... well... look at my sig

There is a night and day difference in the two cars.

Im glad I went with the 2008 MR because I do like the wing and I was able to find a really gently used pre-owned one and save a nice amount vs new, but it would have been much better to have done that directly rather than buying the RA, regretting it, and then throwing good money after bad.

Do this!!! I almost settled. I drove both on the same day, and was not nearly as happy in the RA as I was in the Evo, and if it weren't for a friend saying just hold up and get what you really want I would be unhappy with my RA right now. Honestly, I like my Fusion better than the RA but I wanted it just to say "Its almost an Evo"

Don't do it, save and wait.

Cool thanks for the info guys. I guess I will just have to be patient with it. For some reason I feel like rushing right now. Hopefully they still have some new 2011 in spring.

Just don't go test drive anything over your budget. You will almost always want the nicest most expensive thing you climb into. So don't go drive a new MR touring. I was originally thinking the ralliart, then I drove a gsr and fell in love with it. A year later the SEs came out, and I was like, F%&k this is the perfect car for me, so I went out and test drove a new MR, yep, flipping awesome. But decided for now that I don't want to take the huge financial hit from going to from the gsr to the mr.

If you can afford it... definitely get the EVO... or else you'll be kicking yourself afterwards.

Get the Evo, I debated but decided it was worth the extra money. To be fair I never test drove an RA though.
