Cooler heads have prevailed and in retrospect I did act and react (and react) in an.....improper fashion. I think I was bearing some "preconceived hostility", and that was not right to bring that into a new thread.
chi (Kyle) is right, that is not a good reflection on the RA community (or as an indication for how new members should act when joining up), and I felt obligated to say something.

Thought that thread was pretty tame compared to my old car forum... but then again its turned into a battlefield where every new guy with that certain car gets called out and made fun of just for asking common questions about said car...

If it makes you feel any better, I have had two accounts banned from two different forums, just today. One of those accounts is on ban number 5.

 

You're not alone, I noticed today that Ambystom got the "boot" out of EvoM for his part in the endless arguement that ensued on that other thread over the past couple of days.

It wasn't the argument, AFAIK. His ban will end in not too long. However, he might not come back after that, as he has done before.
