I get this sound at 5000 rpms. And it's only when I let off. I just swapped out the old bov and I still have the sound.

If the car wasn't drivable - I would help a forum-member out and drive the 20 minutes...

Hey, if it is not with the bov (since you've swapped back and it keeps happening), and most likely (not certain) is something else. Did you check if your vacuum line (thin hose that goes to the top of the bov) is free of leaks and its connections tight? Anyway, it couldn't hurt to open the bovs and take a look if they're clean.

I can drive it, I just have to take it easy and stay off the boost.

OK so I followed your advice and took off the small rubber vacuum line. Put it to the sunlight and no clog or anything. Maybe I'll have to test the hard line as well? And idk how to open the stock BOV for the 8 and 9. Hmmmmmm, maybe the throttle body needs a good cleaning?
Thanks for all the help guys! It means a lot!!!

I don't think it could be the throttle body, but I'm no expert. See if you can find a video about theses specific bovs and how to open them. I'll try it Too once I get home
