So whats the deal then? I called up one of the local shops and they told me that every car is different and that just because that car runs lean doesn't mean mine will, also noted that the downpipe and test pipe would cause these readings to change. So could this be just the one car or would it apply to every car? I ran the UR SRI for a month without any issues and took it off because of this tread. The car runs the same with the stock airbox as it did with the UR SRI, thus making me believe that this issue is related to this particular car. Also why would they sell you a product and say it does not need a tune, would they blatantly want you to ruin your car? I highly doubt it. At this point and time you cannot believe what other people say unless you go and dyno the car and see results for yourself.

It is true that every car will be different. Most should be about the same, but you definitely can not (and should not) completely rely on other people's experience and A/F numbers.

mine had the same issues. The issue is the way the air hits the maf sensor doesnt allow it to recalibrate properly. Its the same issue that cars like the MS3 and Cobalt TC have with intakes and untuned.
