2009 Lancer Ralliart - GST Basemap
Something to do with the flashing process. Just use the program to "Clear DTC codes" or it will go off on its own after a few turns of the key.
This will either put peoples minds at ease or allow you, Bryan, to tweak it
I will have my first log once the weather hits 5c or below.
ill be running the v2 map as well this winter.. ill try to log for everyone.. Man first day with the boost pill and the V2 map and im having alot of fun.. its great.. thanks so much Bryan for the maps..
My car threw a CEL as well, and after 3 key cycles it went away. The annoying part is now the Navi always says I'm overdue on service (I have less than 1K miles). Does anyone know of a way to turn this disclaimer off??
Again, Bryan, this is really too nice of you to give back to the community like this. I come from Scoobie land where this is unheard of. As a side note, being a business guy, this makes sense for you: once people start modding their cars, they will need to contact you to re-tune the base maps.
In my case I want to get a new TBE, and to be sure I will be contacting you for a new map. PM a price when you get a chance, thanks again!!

Okay thanks I just wanted to get your thoughts on it since it is your map you should know. I will keep an eye on things but if you say it should be okay then I will take your word for it.

The Cobb instructions shows taking out the solenoid side pill AFAIK, which is not what our upgraded pill is for.
The full assembly is not the same as the Evo X as the Evo X has twin solenoids. However, the location of the boost pill we upgrade is the same.

Hi Bryan.
I'm putting this up in case you're interested in reading some feedback from the other side of the world. I've been using your "AUDM 93 oct Stock Pill V2" base map for a few weeks now. The OP2.0 has been in full standalone logging mode, so I've been able to monitor knocksum across the full spectrum of driving conditions and situations.
Attached is an EcuFlash comparison between your base map timing table and the revised one now running in my bone-stock RA (on 98 RON fuel).
Only baby steps so far - no more than 1* timing pulled in any one cell, with every effort to keep the map as nice and smooth as your supplied base version.
I've ordered an LC-1 WB oxygen sensor, but it's still winging its way from the US... so as yet I'm sticking to reviewing/revising the High Octane timing map.
Also attached is a "Virtual Dyno" comparison, taken in gloriously unscientific conditions.
It shows roughly 10% increase in torque and power. Nice boost curve, mate (yes, stock pill). I badly want to see AFR data on that graph too, but wishing won't make the LC-1 arrive any quicker. All in good time.
So... rest assured that people are out there using the base tunings you produce... and going through a sensible log/analyse/revise cycle (ie. using it as a starting base, as intended).
Cheers,
Rich

I've been wanting to small changes to the basemap but never had the guts to do it.
And congrats on the (approximate) 10% gains... It's impressive.
