Evoscan 2.7 HELP!! Please! :) Logging wrong data

OK, so I finally had the chance to plug my tactrix cable in and open evoscan 2.7 to start data logging.

My Steps

1. connected tactrix cable to the ecu
2. plugged the usb into my laptop
3. opened evoscan (set to open port 2.0, CAN 2006+/evoX and selected mode 23 usa RA evox.

^Pretty simple but im getting the wrong readings.

I clicked start logging. In the event log, all connections were successful. So I started my car and BOOM! jk lol

2-byte RPM was reading 35550
Knock sum was 35
Timing advance was 15

??? Obviously my RPM's idling is not 35550...Did I do it wrong??? This is upsetting me so im calling out for help.

I am new to this and this is my first time trying to log data off the STOCK ecu.

Anyone that has logged data using evoscan on the 2009 RA, please chime in!!!

What did you do that logged the right data?
Any questions I may answer that could help?
What do I do to start understanding how to log data???

Thank you in advance!

You need to make sure your ROM is setup for Mode23

Do you get normal temp readings for IAT ad MAT?

I did not have much time other than to make sure evoscan was reading data that seemed correct. I almost flipped when i saw a reading for Knocksum at 35!! Now its at 0... The temp was 90 degrees here in Chicago so I think that IAT and MAT was normal. IAT was in the 80's and MAT was about 114.

Driving down to the AMS open house I did some monitoring of the GST's 93 octane stock pill map. Everything seemed like it was reading correctly. No knock, Timing advance increased to 25 instead of 15 (idle). Boost was capping at 18 around 4k rpm, tapering to about 14.

I will do some more logging tomorrow morning to accurately answer your question Piper. But evoscan seemed like it was reading IAT and MAT correctly.

I just logged some data on the way to work. Intake air temp was between 137 - 149. Manifold air temp was 83 at 2k in third gear then dropped to 79 after I pulled to the end of 4th gear around 6-7100 rpm. I had a knock count of 1....at about 6500 rpm...is that good or bad? no knock is better but how bad is 1? I only have a works drop in and the gst 93 stock pill map. Evoscan seems to be logging correctly???

sounds wrong, no way your intake air temp is 149F with stock intake.

What's the address you are logging?

Ralliart 2009 IAT

Sorry to revive this old thread.
Trying to verify what I should be seeing for IAT on a 2009 Ralliart.

In Evoscan 2.9 I am logging 23808659 for IAT

With exterior temps about 55 F I am seeing IAT as high as 240 F

Seems a bit high to me ? Do I have a problem ?
