Dont know what the problem is
So the other day I was driving in 6th, dropped to 5th and went about 80% throttle and the car just cut boost and jerked. This has happened once since then, both times in 5th gear. Ive been running the gst base map for about a year and have had no issues until now. I also did a pull in 1st 2nd and 3rd and all pulled just a hard with no issues. Also I was in sport mode manual today and the car was shifting very slow. Any ideas? Thanks
Which version Base Maps? The V30 and V31 Base Maps all have pretty safe boost control in high-gear, low-rpm situations.
At 2000rpm, 5th gear, the boost wastegate solenoid duty cycle (BWGDC) is less than 25%. Boost target is also low at that RPM point in that gear... like, under 13psi.
If you're running V30/V31, I can't see that "boost cut and jerk" being as a result of actual Boost Limit cut. Older V27 Base Maps, sure.
As above, post logs. If you can get 24/7 Standalone Logging working on Tactrix, it's pretty useful as a diagnostic tool. My vehicle logs itself on every trip. Haven't needed to plug in and check those mini-SD log files for over a year, but it's great to know they are there!

Just to clarify with this did the gear drop(go numb/neturalise) on you and it revved out.
I had it happend from 5th to 4th lucky i wasnt 100% punching it but it scared the s*** out of me and I've had it only ever happen once before into 4th not sure though it its a supersports flash related thing.
