2012 Ralliart Intake Question
No, I am just saying that the effect of aftermarket intakes on a Ralliart is either non-existent or negative, that's all. Any research you do will show that if you're actually tuned, these things are a waste of money. Nothing bold about the notion, it's just a well known fact. Here's some very useful info:

Though if you want to look at the whole intake debate a bit more globally, you'd find some funny results anyway:

Or if you want to go all the way to the turbo, this exhaust is a steal right now: http://www.lancershop.com/customer/p...0&cat=0&page=1

Also, a downpipe will not show much gain either unless your changing out your turbo. Its also a pain in the *** to replace. Just a heads up in case you were looking to do that as well.
The car already comes with what amounts to a cold air intake. Unless you have done turbo-back exhaust, intercooler, and turbo upgrade, there's no reason to be touching the intake at all other than getting some extra "Whoosh!" sound.
Using a short ram intake in the engine bay, so it sucks even more hot air during the summer, makes absolutely no sense. Also, other than the AEM intake which is supported with a GST map, you'd need an expensive custom tune.
