No, I am just saying that the effect of aftermarket intakes on a Ralliart is either non-existent or negative, that's all. Any research you do will show that if you're actually tuned, these things are a waste of money. Nothing bold about the notion, it's just a well known fact. Here's some very useful info:

Though if you want to look at the whole intake debate a bit more globally, you'd find some funny results anyway:

lol..

Well that was an eye opener. You just saved me a few hundred bucks. Thanks man!

Guess I'll just concentrate on putting my money towards a catback now.

Please don't dig up anything on that!

Just add a high flow cat to the catback and you've got yourself a much more powerful vehicle with the GST Stage 2 maps or custom tune.

Or if you want to go all the way to the turbo, this exhaust is a steal right now: http://www.lancershop.com/customer/p...0&cat=0&page=1

Do yourself a favor and do what AlDim said. A cat-back alone isnt gonna help much with the hp numbers. It will sound better than stock but our cat is extremely restrictive, so to see any real gains that needs to be replaced as well.

Also, a downpipe will not show much gain either unless your changing out your turbo. Its also a pain in the *** to replace. Just a heads up in case you were looking to do that as well.

Using a short ram intake in the engine bay, so it sucks even more hot air during the summer, makes absolutely no sense. Also, other than the AEM intake which is supported with a GST map, you'd need an expensive custom tune.
Couldn't have said it better myself. You don't need to super-modify your intake unless you've already done crazy amounts of engine mods for your car.

^^^Agree all above from what I have read and seen especially in these cars there isn't anything to gain. I just replaced my stock filter with a cosworth. Im guessing thats as good or better then the AEM
