Wont start after sitting for a week
Came home from vacation yesterday and decided to go for a drive in the ralliart. Jumped in and attempted to start it, battery dead (relay clicking/slow cranking)
I figured, eh, it sat a week with the factory battery from 2011. Run to the garage to grab the booster. Found out the booster took a crap too..
Pulled out the big ole' battery charger and let it sit for 2 hours.
Try'd starting again but still got slow crank but with a loud screech this time.
Run to advance auto and picked up a new battery thinking maybe a cell fried or something. Replaced battery and attempted again. Faster cranking but screeching is still there and no start.
No codes in the computer, im puzzled.

If you haven't replaced your relays I would definitely do that. Here's a link: http://www.sspperformance.com/evo-x-...y-package.html

I replaced the fuel pump relay with a Mitsubishi orange relay about a month back. Still that wouldn't explain the awful screeching. I'll have a buddy come over and crank it over while I listen under the hood.

Alright, I finally had a chance to get a buddy over to assist on this. While he attempted to turn it over I listened in the engine bay. Turns out my drive belt wasn't turning as the engine cranked. I couldn't find a tensioner anywhere near the pulleys so I just cut the belt off. Alternator seized without warning. Ordered a new alternator and belt.
