Hey guys I have a 2014 RA with 61xxxkm. Its fairly stock other than catback exhaust, boost pill, gst map with s sport. My issue is whenever I hit 6th gear I get a grinding noise from the transmission side of the engine bay whenever I hit the throttle in normal, sport and s sport. It doesn't matter how much throttle I give it and I drive it as a daily so no crazy ****. The friends who flashed the car both have ralliarts with similar or the same tune and never had this issue or heard of this issue. The car drives perfect other than this recent issue. Can anyone help me out ?

 

have you been changing the fluids on schedule? drive it hard a lot? Could it be synchros anyone? I haven't ever opened up the SST yet nor have had any issues with it.

 

Also, can you flash back to stock and take it in for a fix? It should still be under the warranty right?

 

Just recently found out from the dealership that the sst fluid has never been changed, don't drive it hard, the odd race here and there. All other fluids are changed on time and it's being flashed back tomorrow. Sadly I am having trouble getting the dealership to cover it under warranty as I am 1000km over the limit

 

One thousand KMs over? Seriously?... What a bag of D I C K S.

They told me that if mine was tuned when I bring it in for the ACD pump(which they extended the warranty on because they screwed the placement) that they would deny it because it could affect the ACD pumps pressure... How?

 

Right? Platinum Mitsubishi is ****. Gonna change the fluid and take it to a different dealership that'll hopefully give me a new tranny under warranty
