Push to start question

Does anyone know if the push to start on the Outlander would be compatible with the ralliart ignition? I tried asking the dealer however the parts guy just kept repeating that it would void my warranty and would not give me a straight answer.

I once asked a dealer about changing to non-oem beam type wiper blades. He said it would cause a different load on the wiper motor, which would in turn affect the electrical system, which would in turn affect the ECU and would void my drive train warranty.

It should work, but getting it hooked up properly would be the extremely hard part.

The extra load on the motor could actually cause the lug nuts to come loose and the accelerator pedal to stick. I would really stay away from messing with complicated stuff like that
