"""Where can i buy SST fluid and filter!!""""

I just called in to Mitsubishi dealer shop in Vancouver BC.... they said they charge 1200+tax for the whole maintenance including SST fluid and fliter....but the price is way too crazy!!!!!!! This is the most expensive maintenance i havent heard for my entire life.... ><

Just just wanna ask all the members in here!!

1. How do u guys do the 48k maintenance? and Where in BC

2. where do u buy it?? and other maintenance parts?

3. How much??

((Mitsubishi dealer said ""only mitsubishi can provides SST fluid and fliter, but i remember i did see it somewhere just couldnt find it now))

thank u everyone!!!!

Read at least the first page. There's a similar page here but the info is pretty much the same. http://www.clubralliart.com/showthread.php?t=2461 In short buy the DSG tranny fluid from the VW dealer and buy the filter off of ebay or buy a reusable one from SSP.

Please don't post the same thing in multiple areas.

Chill out on the punctuation.

That said, please visit the SST sub forum under the Evo X area.

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/mi...ed-models-307/

You can buy the stock filter off Ebay for ~$125.00 USD and the fluid (aftermarket FFL2) for about the same shipped in the US - not sure abourt shipping to Canada.

the OEM fluids brand is Diaqueen. I got my fluids from FredBeans http://www.fredbeansparts.com/index....mit=all&cat=90 and the SST filter from eBay. If you haven't done any fluid change you should consider change your LSD fluid too (center and rear diff). All the materials costed me almost $400...check the DIY section there is a great writeup on how to do the SST fluid change yourself.

Hi

I just ordered the same thing via this thread from fredbeans (+6oil filter) for 425$

http://www.evoxforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=34028

Just reply to the thread and he will send you a PM will all the info
And he is really quick

And take note, that i live in quebec (north part, nearest dealer is at like 600km) and it's cost me 100$ taxe and border ****

So total, 8L of diaqueen, transmision filter, 6 oil filter oem for 525$ ship to my house
Still beat the dealer price for sure

oh ok....i wasn't trying make a point that they have better prices...just wanted to show him the parts I bought and the relative prices on them....i dont understand why alot of sellers in the U.S. don't ship to Canada. Is this because you guys somestimes get taxed for goods bought outside of Canada?

Wolfe Mitsubishi in Langley will change the SST and transfer case fluids for $600 but they don't put in a new filter. Your choice but its a bit worrisome.

To original poster:

Go to www.autopartsway.ca

Search/order Pentosin FFL-2

Get reusable filter from SSP or wait until they get their OEM ones in (SSP is having OEM filter copies made for half the price, so they claim). To be available soon.

I just bought 7L of the above fluid with a coupon code for $140 shipped.

Total cost should be about $250 or less (filter + fluid).

Hello, I'd like to update this thread with some info about our DCT: It's a German made Getrag DCT450, a joint project between Ford / Getrag / Luk that is used on Ford Focus, Volvo SUVs and in our Lancers. The fluid is provided by the German subsidiary of Castrol, and the so called DiaQueen SSTF-I is just a rebadged Castrol Transmax Dual. As for the filter, you can use any filter compatible with Volvo/Ford that takes this transmission (Volvo calls it MPS6, Ford calls it Powershift). The original one is made by a German company called "IBS Filtran plastic / metal products GmbH". Here in Brazil, the Castrol Transmax Dual is readily available, and way cheaper than the "original" sold at the dealer.
