Potential stupid question

My question is basic. I was thinking of running the AEM EMS in my Strat coup. i am asking here cause you guys do more with ems where as club3g likes the emnage. Now here in ohio we have emisions where they hook up to the ODBII and get a reading on the engine. Will they still get a reading with EMS or will it bypass ODBII?

The ems does not use the obd port. I suggest finding a friend that can get you the stickers.

Stickers won't do you any good, if you have no OBDII signal you will fail.

You got me wrong. If you have a friend that can get you the inspection/emmision stickers, then you wont need the port. Get what im saying? Its a joke kinda.

well here in ohio, if they can't get a ODB reading, they put it up on the rollers. Now I dont know how a turbo setup will react as far as emissions output.

I'm curious, what do you mean by "put it up on rollers"?

They used to have the same process here in Maryland also. I found ways around that though. If your car is too low to make it into the garage, and onto the rollers, then they wont be able to do the test. They dont want to mess up your car, cause they would have to pay for it. I was exempted for 3 years because I was too low. Just some food for thought, dont know if that will work for you.
