Horrible AEM tuning from the "pros"
It ran long enough to break all the ring lands. It might of also helped if they tuned and turn on Knock control as well.
I can't go into too many details but this is one of the rare occasion where a court found enough negligence to award financial compensation to the owner of the car from the shop that performed the work...
I vote this one to be the winner, and by that, I mean the biggest loser, crappyist tune.
No kidding
Dave at least the image that I post was true and what you say was the same I think when I first connect to that EMS.
I dont want to post the ignition map because I think this is more than prove how bad this car was runnning.
The peak EGT on that car before my tune was 1200C.
At that point I know that this was not a joke.

while you are at it,,, why don't you post an entireAEM file...
there is a reason his shop's cars are wicked fast,,, good parts and a good tune...
Hey David, the base map you emailed to Robert @ StaticX Friday was for my car, the graph I posted above is the ending result. Man I wish I was closer to an experienced tuner. I am idling higher after warm up than when the car is cold! sheesh...
evozakk, it's funny when I looked at that map I was thinking it looked like at one time someone did a good job on it and then someone else FKCUED it up. I cannot believe that they messed that map up like that, very sorry to see. I can only imagine what they did to the igntion map.
Tennessee isn't that far, why don't you just take a few days and drive up here and I'll tune the car correctly.

Sorry for the confusion, but I just copied that post from Gadiel, he is the one who originally posted that.
I'm still trying to decide who in the Long beach(CA) area I will take my car to to get tuned, more than likely it will be flashed with the ecu controlling boost.
