Question 1.03 to 1.11 conversion

Have any one running upgrade the EMS with the latest firmware?

I have read the conversion document and ready. Before I hit the button, I like to know if anyone already upgraded. Any pros and cons?

Thanks.

Sorry for not having the answer yet, but where did you get the upgrade from? Was it on the AEM forum somewhere?

All updated software can be found at AEM forum. Under AEM EMS Software Download, the first sticky thread.

Question

No one update yet? According to the documentation, it's pretty straight forward.

Thanks! I'm going for a retune in a few weeks, so Mark @ TT said to wait until then and he will do the upgrade at the same time. Seems like word of the update hasn't gotten around yet.

Yes is straightforward. Just follow the PDF instructions and it should work good. Be sure to resync the timing and adjust the Pickup Delay Comp value.

Also, set the Retard Limit Rev option to the RPM you want the master rev limiter to activate at. On some converted files I've seen this end up at 0 and the car runs with the timing retarded 90 degrees, which is awesome for spool, but sucks for power...

I just got my 1313u last week.I was assuming it was updated/upgraded.
My map base duty does say 1.03.
Do I need to upgrade my firmware?

Also,Does anyone have a map dynoed for my equipment?

It's depends.

You might have the recent software. But the EMS probably don't have the most recent firmware install. Connect to the EMS and you will find what firmware version.

Whether you running the EMS with MAF or MAP, the basemap that come with the software is pretty good.

If you have the software installed on a laptop, browse to c:\program files\aem\aempro\startup calibrations\mitsubishi-dsm\1313_???.V1.??.cal
