Lancer flogs 140 Kw Corolla
I have to smile, I look at your time slip which is authentic enough, but I recall running 15.9 with our 4g93 coupe and it was stock
. You will have trouble swallowing that too
but thats life being a 4A person

I'm sorry at this moment I do not have a dyno sheet that will tell you all of the temps and all of the stuff that you are chasing for my dyno sheet to be appropriate but I have a time slip for you... hmm having problems trying to get load the slip up but check out Fastest N/A ancer in this forum I think it is in the U.S forum

Raptor - i would be HAPPY to run against you. But UNTIL THEN - save the "claims" of 13sec 1/4 miles..... do you actually know how much power is required to acheive that in a FWD???
Personally i am yet to come across a prancer that equals or betters my little rolla.

On the topic of your little rolla, saying you can outperform most 6cyc family cars isnt anything great at all. I havent been killed by any 6cyc family car yet, all races i have had i have come equal if not beaten them but its nothing special. And the question about beating ANY standard FWD lancer... how many lancers have you raced and what model were they? Because im sure you havent raced all of them so UNTIL THEN you should keep quite about your little rolla

So what have you done then? I assume that you have done something to improve them. After all, you have doubled your stock power, you couldn't expect your brakes to still be up to the task?
I know few insurance companies outside of Shannons and JustCars would look kindly at that, and even they would want better brakes?

Ok that is enough everyone, Singlecam and the witzl, out of everyone contributing to this topic both of you have consistently shown behavior, which is clearly unacceptable. I challenge you both to think about the content within your posts/replies and the implications. If the responses do not contain information that is beneficial to all forum users DO NOT REPLY.
I can understand where you are both coming from, however there is a way in which to do things. We all have a passion for our cars and everyone’s own vehicle means a little more to them. It is for that reason when commenting in the fashion you both did, it will only obtain a “spirited” response.
You must remember that every Lancer is not the same just as every person is not the same. Unfortunately the Mitsubishi Lancer image has taken a battering over the recent years and has been stamped with the image of “rice box”. It has stemmed from many 1.5L CE Coupes (in general) who attach a body kit and clear tail light with a cannon exhaust. This image is not shared by all of the owners and most definitely not from the serious enthusiasts. A Lancer can go fast nobody should dispute that, as it is possible to make any vehicle move with enough work.
As for asking for time slips and dyno read outs, I have seen these questions time and time again, you will find the figures are correct on many occasions (many posted before). Please I urge you to do some research into the Lancer and engines/vehicles in general. Cars come down to a lot more than power output, surly you must consider the torque of the vehicle, power to weight, power curves, torque curves, driveline loss, condition of vehicle and components/tyres, you will come across many many factors which make vehicles and engines different and perform differently under the conditions.

That was kind of an amusing read. Everyone is as blind sighted as each other.
Most engines have plenty of potential. A SOHC with some headwork can flow better than a poorly made DOHC. A 1970 Gemini with $30,000 of work in it, can probably beat a $400,000 Ferrari... An 1992 Pulsar SSS and a 1992 RS Turbo both cost about the same. Spend $3000 and you will get a hell of a lot more out of the RS Turbo... In any of these cases, what does it prove?
When it comes down to it, cars are a matter of taste. Personally, I chose to pay $55,000 for a Evo 6, rather than pay $35,000 for a faster R33 Skyline. Does that mean I've been ripped off? Not at all! If I had the choice, I'd do it all over again.
I have in my Garage, a 1992 2.0L Pulsar that I estimate will put out about 130kw at the front wheels, and I only spent $2000. How? I did all the work myself, using second hand parts.
What does that prove? About as much as every other comment on this forum...
