Yes , I agree. Mobil Synergy 8000 is the best for my Evo 3 which pumps out 230 kw atw. I used BP 98 all the time , until I had to use the Mobil , when I was a course car for the Classic Adelaide Rally. The difference in performance is very noticable. Was getting detonation with the BP. None with the Mobil. (around 20psi)
I dont know whether much gains will be had with a NA Lancer though, other than a bit better milege.
