I'll be making the trip and wondered if there were any other DFW guys interested. It's an 11 hour drive so it's quite a trip. There will be drags Friday night, autoX on Sat and rallyX on Sun. It's the closest event that I've seen on the SCCA schedule for rallyX.

Jose, you should get some r-comps if you can. Divisionals generally bring out the more prepared cars than the regional events.

 

It will be a looong time before I am ever able to run comps, like 3-5 years away . I am actually thinking of stepping out on this one, I am not 100% certain yet.

I know a few of us were talking about going to this. I have registered and went ahead and became a member since I plan on doing the rest of the BMW events this year. Here is the course map. I've never been to Mineral Wells so this should be fun. Looks like it's going to be a fast course!!!

Also I was thinking maybe we should just make a monthly autox thread. Might be easier to consolidate all the info for each month and show who is attending which ones.

Awesome I think we are Y. If we run r comps we are in z. so i guess if you are in z you might as well run r comps because they can't put you into any other class. Kind of weird.

Yeah, that's one of the main reasons why I don't run with the Porsche or BMW club. Their have "their" classes and then the "everyone else not us" class.

It's not competitive since the classing isn't fair - it's really more just for fun. I guess you can also say the same for NTAXS although theirs is at least based on engine size.

 

I can't wait.

We should meet up somewhere common and cruise out there.

I've you've not been to MW... it's big. Get there early and maybe bring a scooter for the walk around. I've been out there 30 minutes early and barely had time for one walk through.
