hello all im back from thailand, i hope the dynoday was fun.

any one has numbers to put up? i like to see how much of a heartbreaker their dyno really is on a modded and stock evo.

also i forgot how quiet me car was lol......im having one of those regrets about buying a part for my car, Ultimate racing test pipe to be exact.

anyone else have a resonated intermediate pipe + non-straight through muffler with a test pipe? if so how bad is it? i find the Evo's exhaust note is not as sexy as the Suby so i dont really want to advertise it much lol.

im looking forward to see this rain go away : /

im in no rush to put on the test pipe. although i did find that my 3" intermediate pipe has an O2 bung, and thats where my current O2 sensor is installed, the Works HFC has no O2 bung.

after doing some research it seems 06+ Evo's had their O2 sensor installed in the Catalytic converter. so it would seem that i have 2 O2 sensor holes now lol.

I think im going to relocate the sensor to the Test pipe since its spaced out a bit and wont cause a CEL

from what i remember on my install, i had an 02 bung on the perrin hfc. i just plugged that whole because i wast going to use it. my exhaust also came with a bung for the stock 02 sensor on the mid pipe so install was pretty easy. mine is an 05.

in your case its fine where it is.

im gonna have to relocate the O2 sensor from the intermediate pipe to the test pipe for sure or im going to throw a CEL. theres gonna be far too much exhaust flowing through the test pipe to the intermediate pipe since the Cat isnt there anymore.

ultimate racing's test pipe had a flange welded on an angle and spaced so not a lot of exhaust is going to hit the sensor.

i was laying on the ground looking at my pipe under the car yesterday night at like midnight, and my neighbor (who is a Cop) walked out and saw me laying on the ground, it freaked the crap out of him lol. i thought he was gonna go for his gun LOL.

I had my o2 in the catback, farther away from the stock cat location, and spaced with a defouler. so far no CEL (fingers crossed).

I'm running full downpipe straight through to catback. It drones a bit, and definitely not as nice sounding as a subbie

sorry, i really meant trunk lid. just tap on it with your finger and you can hear how flimsy that panel is, hence why it weights like....5lbs. i would dynomat that first.

Oh. Yeah that's what you get from an econobox that tries to be light weight! When it rains, its pretty 'tingy' from the rain on the roof also.

I'm looking to buy Walbro 255 FP, injectors and LICP, UICP and possibly FMIC. For FMIC I'm probably going to get the ETS anodized black 3" one. I really don't like the big FMIC sticking out in the front.

Can anyone suggest a good brand of injectors or the best bang for buck LICP?
