if your going for ets fmic, you might as well get the whole kit. there is one for 3.5 size (might not help because you just said you want a 3 inch) in the private for sale section. im trying to buy the uicp but he wont budge.

what are you plans for the Evo? 3.5 would accomodate a FPred or a HTA35R setup fine, are you planning on going big?

To fit a 3.5" FMIC though, on a stock turbo, are there any downsides? More lag? Also what cosmetics modifications are needed?

anyway, i spotted a ww ix at crystal mall this afternoon the plate number was ### SAH. his front plates are mounted on the mesh grill at the middle of the fmic...

on the plus side the FPred is a drop-in turbo. makes life hell of a lot easier.
