You guys are in great hands. Reverse engineering ECU's is not a simple task. One of the main reasons why other platforms like the Subaru platform is updated quite fast is because the ECU programming is very similar. As manufactures change ECUs, add different logics, we as a business have to accommodate for that.
I.E.
The second Gen MS3 released a completely different ECU and we had to start from ground zero which took us many many months to engineer.
I assure we are working our hardest to have a tuning solution for the 2011 Evo/Ralliarts.

Keep up the good work guys. Ignore the complaints, they are just anxious customers.

Once the firmware has been thoroughly tested we will then proceed to the next step

So it is possible (and I know you can't give an actual date) that it still could be a month before this is actually in consumers hands, no? I only ask because that little face you added looks a little worried/confused...Originally Posted by bankaiup

Btw - What is the next step after the firmware?

Hello all, I'm new here in the forum and trying to absorb all the buzzwords you guys are using. Just recently got my 2011 Evo GSR, never driven one before and I just got out of the brake-in period. I can finally drive it over 3500rpm. Stepping up from a 2006 sportback, the Evo is very quick as it. Can you really improve this? It seems OK just straight out of the box. Anyone knows if re-flashing the ECU is legal in Canada?

Wow I had mine up to 5000 RPM off the Dealer lot! Break in Period is a Dealer Boon, best seat the rings and get the engine used to some hard pulling. Originally Posted by jerry_x

I had my 2011 GSR at Magnus for a baseline Dyno and they ran it up to 7500 at only 3000 KM

Agreed, first 500KM be gentle, after that just don't do anything stupid and the engine will be fine.Originally Posted by guswaym
