I got the same code, too. The regular stage 2 maps disable that code as far as I've seen from the map notes. Perhaps they used a test pipe (like those with 'j' shaped O2 bung) that does not trigger the code, so they did not have to disable it during their testing.

Would it be possible to update the maps and disable the code?

Oh, and for fun, below is the v-dyno result of a 2nd gear pull (2011 Cosworth Stage 2 91) :P

I used 3650 lbs as the weight (3451 with my spare tire delete, etc. + my 200 lbs weight).

That's just the dyno data from AccessPort's virtual dyno feature. I plotted the data on a graph using OpenOffice.

 

those virtual graphs look so similar to my real graph gotta love math!

I think packrat is rather asking about how to get the beta firmware.

BEFORE you even marry your AP, you need to upgrade your AP handheld device to the beta firmware:

• Install AP Manager to your PC, go to "Options".
• Choose "Check for beta software". Then check for updates. It will now find the beta firmware and will ask to upgrade your handheld device.
• Once done, you can then marry your AP and you'll have the v300 beta maps available.

I think Cobb should post these instructions somewhere (if not already) since it is not really clear what to do looking at the release notes page.

 

Thats what I was looking for. Thanks oozkaro. Just ordered the Perrin stage 1 for my 2011. They don't have a map for it yet and I'm just not sure whats going to be on the unit when I get it.
