Cobb AP for 2011 Evo X?
BakaUnchi I just updated my COBB ap to the latest firmware.....I also installed injen intake and UICP last night...I want to make sure I use the right maps....I use the "2011 injen GSR stage 1 93" right? And when I get my exhaust I will use the "2011 GSR Injen stage 2 93" correct? Can you link me to those?

I just loaded your map onto the car huge difference....but I am a little nervous about safety....how can i log the car to check for boost spikes, knock etc....I will be driving the car around tonight trying to log it. I have a 2011 GSR with 2009 miles (brand new)....just installed injen intake and UICP last night loaded your map on today....gonna go drive it around tonight, Anything I should look for? I loaded your "injen GSR stage 1 93" map.

Well this suxs I tried the new maps and still every map I get 3 count knock or even 4 count some times.
I sent some logs to tim at cobb and he said it looked like I was over boosting.
I checked around and found that when I went to cobb austin they removed the boost pill in the top line for a protune did a boost leak test befor the tune found a small leak so had to stop the tune gave me the car but forgot to put the pill back.
So after tim told me about the over boost I went to mitsu and got the whole boost syl line replaced new hoses and pills.
But even now no leak all the stock lines and pills I still get knock on all the maps regardless of 91 acn 91 or even 93 and stage 1 or stage 2 even the panel filter maps.
I am on 93 oct with password jdm uicp - k&n panel - cobb turbo inlet - invidia single exit catback ex.
If needed I can send the logs with out the boost pill and the ones now with the new lines and pills.

Knocks
I have loaded and logged my car with the stage 1 injen 93 map....I see some knocks also around 1 to 2 occasionally...is this safe? I do not know how to upload the files here....when I try and load them as an attachment it says invalid file...if you have an email let me know I can send them maybe you can give it a quick glance for me? You guys really need to relax a bit.
1-2-3 knock counts are super common on stock ish cars
a 3 count is only 1.05 degress of retard (thats not a big deal)
a 4-6 is up to 2 degrees of retard ( 6 = 2 degrees ) also not a HUGE deal
the STOCK tunes can pull 10-15 counts, so all you guys running around stock are probably knocking like mad and have no idea. So even with a 1-6 count you are still safer than stock.
That being said if you run a map that is TOO rich you will knock as well
If there is a map that matches your mods (ACTUAL MODS not just "oh its a panel filter they are all the same") then the ACN91 should be the richest with the least amount of timing. If that knocks (over 4-6) Try the 91 map the leaner mixture may help.
If you are still seeing excessive knock (over 4-6) CHECK YOUR RELAY and REPLACE IT
I dont care if its BLUE REPLACE IT!!

So what type of relay should we replace it with?
I heard that AMS has one that they use when they see this problem would that on work?
So even if the car is 100% stock on stock tune it still knocks?
My only issue is the wierd idel under the app tune when clutch is pressed rolling to a stop the revs jump up and down 800rpm to 2000rpm and back to around 800rpm till the car stops then it stays down around 800 to 900 rpm.
but I found when uninstalled the car will still do that for the first few stop then go back to normal and never do it agen?
I dont know if it will do that if I leave the tune on for a while I always flash drive see knock switch map knock agen so switch back to stock.
But if thats the case and I am better leaving it on the 91oct tune which would be the best for my mods k&n panel,uicp,cobb turbo inlet tube, and invidia exh on 93 oct ?
