And that's stock turbo? If it is, turn that down a bit haha. That's ridiculously high for the mods that you have, at least IMO. And I know a majority of the people who run the stage 2 maps right from cobb, But honestly I'd take it to a shop and have them tune it for you with the AP. They can solve a lot of things, and more then likely your problem that you are facing.

I got a tomioka test pipe the thing is that the stock cat has a curve to it, i didnt think it would affect the exhaust until i installed it, since it didnt have a curve the test pipe hit the aluminium under the car and made my exhaust hit my rear bumper, i need one like this ATP test pipe

and i cant go stage 1 since i drive a 2011 gsr and i got an injen intake and exhaust

I hate to make this thread any longer with such a simple question, but couldn't find the answer by searching the forums.

Will the 2011 GSR stage 2 beta maps work with a 2012 GSR's ECU? I kmow there's speculation that the 2012 ECU *should* be the same, but I want to know definitively.

Thanks!

I don't see why not. If you don't want to try it contact COBB. They might be in development with a new firmware release for 2012's, but I don't think there is a big difference from 2011 to 2012

There is no way in hell I would ever do this without talking to Cobb first. There are just so many variables that even a small change can produce catastrophic results.

I took off out of first pretty quickly and ran throught the gears, i turned onto the high way in 3rd, pushed the pedal to the floor, and everything is going smoothly, i then hit 4th pushed it back to floor watched the boost and it hit 28 psi... at this time the car sorta jerked like it was losing alot of power. Would this a slipping clutch or something to do with my tune. It doesn't do this often and only once in a while when i am running it hard in 4th or 5th.

I think it is a fuel cut issue. It seems more common on the MR's since the gears change so fast at WOT. I ended up switching to Stage 2 and it seemed a lot smoother. BTW I'm stock except Cosworth air filter and it seems to work great. Boost hitting 25psi. I haven't been experiencing any problems with it.

Thanks i might give that a try, are the stage 2 maps out for the 2011s from cobb, or did you get it from a outside source?

Ok, realy trying not to ask the same questions over and over but I want to get this right. Will be getting a pro tune in may but untill then I've been using the maps that baka very very kindly made available. Have a turbo back (test pipe) and a k&n typhoon cold air intake on my 11 gsr. For the last month or two I've been using the cosworth stage 2 93 and it seems ok but I just realized its for a panel filter. Cant get the normal stage 2 to download onto my ap or I'd run it and put the stock intake back on. What should I do? Is the injen stage 2 93 closer to what Im telling my MAF? Sorry, Im learning. What map is best for me? And the 2011gsr injen 93ptm. map doesnt say stage 2 but I assume it is? Thanks

Really tempted to try this as I just ordered the AP. But worries as stage 2 should not work with a stock car.
