Cobb AP for 2011 Evo X?
you guys do realize cobb lives and breathes tuning there not going to hire some idiot and say go to town....jon doesnt just guess and say hm this look fast hopfully it will hold he does countless hours of r&d to make maps for your car that are powerful and safe
Baka,
I need to update my AP since it has been in the car since the initial release of the 11 maps.
Anyways, Santa brought my an ETS intake, and from what I gather, when I plug the AP back in and update I should get new maps. That being said, I can flash with the Injen 93 map on my GSR and be okay... right? Is there any logging that you would like me to do to help you?

I believe All mods from reputable companies should have two implied warranties. Those warranties are merchantability (product is free from defects) and warranty of fit for a particular purpose (a sales man sells you snow tires but the tires are not actually rated for safe use on the snow).
As a consumer, I would expect Cobb's official maps to conform to those two warranties. That is if they are officially released to the public then the software alone should not cause your car to blow up. So if I have stock car and if I either properly install the Cobb AP or if I have Cobb install my AP, and if my car blows up as a result of the Cobb AP, then Cobb should and probably would be liable. (The nice thing about the Cobb AP is you could uninstall it and see if the factory warranty will cover it although whether this is fraudulent is another issue).
However, I would not expect that from maps that are being tested and developed. So assuming Baka is a developer and assuming that those maps have not officially been released and are still in the testing phase then I would not expect those maps to carry the same warranties as the officially released maps. So they would truly be UAYOR and Cobb should not and probably would not be liable.
Any way that is my 2 cents.

Should be fine! Just make sure you log boost and knock on a couple pulls to make sure everything's safe!
