No, they are not the same maps. Typically, when you install / update the AP firmware, the maps will be there AP for your '11 GSR.

Considering you cant buy the intake without the intercooler pipe im pretty sure it would be safe to say and plus a hard pipe wont affect your tune as much as other things will

2011 GSR AP + Cobb SF intake

Sorry if this has already been answered, looked through half of the posts on here and could not find the answer.

I have a 2011 GSR and was wondering if there is a map for AP plus SF intake. I originally bought the AP from the Plano location and the sales person apperantly downloaded the 2011 beta maps to my AP. Is it ok to run the stage one beta maps plus the Cobb sf intake?

Just got my access port in the mail today. I know this has been asked a lot, but where do I find the latest stage 1 91 cosworth map for a 2011 gsr? I just want to make sure I'm using the best one.

Too bad I hit a deer last week, but I'm going to put it on there and drive around with one headlight just to try it.

So the car ran great with stage 1 91 map without the cosworth. No knock except a 1 here and there. Felt stronger and better all around.

Put the cosworth in and the stage 2 91 cosworth map on and it feels even better, but now I'm getting up to a 5 knock in 4th gear at wot. Should I be concerned about this. Boost is maxing at 25. I'm using 92 octane shell gas in oregon.

So, I have had my 2011 MR for a month now and after research decided to go with the Accessport as my 1st mod. All of the reviews and comments helped to make it an easy decision. Well I just got it today updated the firmware, plugged it in, flashed my Evo to stage 1 93 oct and off I went. So far It has not been shifting right at all. It hits 7500 RPM in 2nd (in normal mode) then immediately at 6500 RPM in 3rd, All the while shifting very rough and inconsistent. It seems to have more power but very jerky (turbo feels like its pulsing). Not sure if it has something to do with the 30 deg temp but something is defiantly not right. Flashed to stage 1 oct and same thing. Set it back to factory and smooth as can be. I havent seen too many reviews with AP + 2011 MRs so I'm wondering if its just me or the fact we are still on "Beta" 2011 maps going into 2012.
Ill call Cobb tomorrow but I dont know what they will say as it took a real long time just to get the betas.

Hi BakaUnchi

Earlier on another thread you recommended just using the Stage 1 map for the Cosworth panel filter for GSR:

That's why I'm running the 2011 Stage 1 map (ACN 91) with my stock GSR + cosworth panel filter.

Is the recommendation different now? Should I flash a LWG Stage 2 map instead ? Thanks !

the Stage 1 map is made to run with a panel filter.
Stage 2 just has some LWG options
