So I've got a strange question. I just got my 2011 GSR a couple weeks ago. I'm looking to get an AP and have looked at the protune option. However, the local tuner who can protune said that since the 2011 maps are still in beta they can't protune the car. They said I could just do the stage 1 OTS map and wait for Cobb to take the beta tag off for the 11's. Does that sound right? Below is the exact quote....

"We'd love to get you in for a tune on that X. Cobb has released a BETA software for the 2011 Mitsubishi EvoX. The problem with the beta is that we don't have full access to all of the maps yet.
I'd say the best bet it is to come in for the AP which we stock and we can plug it in for you and make sure your ROM is supported. If it is we can flash an OTS Stage 1 map onto the car until their are done with the beta program and we can do a full out protune. They said they are working hard on unlocking the last few maps for ProTUNERs so it shouldn't take too long and you will see some nice gains with the off the shelf map for the time being.

We stock the EvoX accessports here and we can upgrade it to the 2011 beta version for you before you leave."

I finally got around to doing some logging. The attached log file is on a 2011 GSR with stage 1 91 octane map. I am running 92 octane fuel, 10 % ethanol. Take a look and let me know what you think.

Thanks

beta stage 2

Will the k&n panel also work with this and do you have to have high flow cat or will 3in cat back work?
