yeh, which was correct for CT9A where the 02 sensor was in the dump

but X has the o2 sensor in the downpipe or frontpipe (depending where your from)

anyways I see a lot of confusion with the word TBE, and technically it should include a replacement dump/02housing/turbooutlet

What if you consider the Housing on the back of the turbo as part of the turbo?

Just like how the inlet is considered part of the turbo and not part of the intake.

Thumbs down 2012 Evos coming soon..and still no Stage 2 maps for COBB AP. SERIOUSLY?

Any updates from COBB ? Because last time I checked they said they will release the State 2 maps within a week or two. When I look at the 2008 and 2010s I can see they have maps for pretty much all the TBE+ CAI combo in the market...
They will bring the 2012s anytime now, and COBB still hasn't released the 2011 maps? , I would be sorry if I were an 12 owner.

I wonder what took them so long, I mean these cars are out there since last September right?
Don't get me wrong, I'm a die hard COBB fan( this is my 3rd AP and ordered many performance parts in past) and love the quality of their products but It's been forever and waiting is a beach

Yeah I'm running quite impatient, too! I want to pull the trigger on a nice quiet exhaust and AEM intake, but I'd rather wait until I have the maps available to order them. So, in a way, these maps might 'stimulate the economy'

Do you guys have any ETA? My speculation on what happened is that they worked on the new faster communication firmware, it cost a lot of time, and now they're catching up.

Cool! Looks like with the boost pill and the Stage 2 tune, as you've guys mentioned before, we'll get to keep that very high boost until 5000 RPMs..

Thanks for the quick response
Those are some great numbers . I assume this is a 91 octane map and you guys are located in CA.

3 questions:

Is there any dyno graph of a stock 11 GSR on the same exact dyno?

What kind of boost levels you have seen after the tune?

When you say "a stock BOV car wouldn't do that " do you mean stock BOV would reach the same torque levels but with a more linear torque curve instead of this
rollercoster lines?

I logged my car the other day with both 91 and 93 octane beta maps and , same deal; car didn't go below 25psi till I hit 5000 levels so there's obviously some changes for 2011 (maybe boost controller, like somebody said) but I'm not complaining

What would be the danger in running a Perrin panel filter with the Cobb 2011 stage 1 beta maps? If I were to log it what would I need to look for?

AFR, drop-in filters are known to lean out the A/F, this is why they show power gains on a dyno; un-tuned.

A wide-band would be ideal.

Well I just installed the stage 1 91 octane map. She runs like a champ. It was weird though I had to turn the ignition all the way on to get the AccessPort to communicate with the ECU and install the map.

In Washington we only have 92 octane fuel. The fuel I use has up to 10% ethanol.

Is it possible to get away with using the 93 octane stage 1 map?

Is there a fuel additive I could you like Amsoil Performance Improver to use the 93 octane map?

The ECU needs power to read/write, of course you need to turn the ignition on

Do not use octane booster additives. You can try a 93 map, just watch for knock.
