It was stated that as long as stock cat is out, the car is stage 2, while map notes for Cobb Stage 2 clearly requires full TBE.
sorry, answered [one of] his own questions

I was just joking I know what that is, I was asking little sarcastically

TBE = dump + downpipe + testpipe or HFC + catback

a lot of people forget the dump part.

good thing a lot of aftermarket dumps replace the dump+down with a single unit...

I'm running a tweaked stage 1 map from Jon... Exhaust mods are a test pipe and cbe so according to his description, I'm technically stage 2. Maybe he can chime in on what stage map I'm on...

your on a custom map the whole "stage 1, and stage 2" thing is mainly designed to help cobb classify there tunes with certain sets of mods.

i dont drive a stage 2 evo since i got a custom tune i just drive a Tuned Evo with bolt on's

thats the way i look at it anyways!

dude I was looking at your sig, are those the only mods that made you achieve those numbers? that's some crazy torque.. btw, yeah if you have a custom tune that's "custom" tune agreed, in other words one step ahead of the stage 2 ots Map, (might be even more with additional bolt ons),,,

Please do explain what type of bolt ons you have on your car, what type of dyno? pump gas? Is there any base line ? I knew 11s have more potential out of the box, stage 1 27psi , so I am not surprised with your results but that's a lot of torque. damn

Turboback exhausts do not have to include a dump, they're loud and nasty, which is why a lot of us run internally routed o2 eliminator downpipes.

I don't mean external dump..

On the stock car:
turbo -> dump -> downpipe with front 02 -> cat converter (with rear 02) -> catback

TBE (turbo back exhaust) = everything from the turbo back...

Gotcha, what you call dump is what a lot of us call o2 housing or turbo outlet Keep up the good work!

Kracka, do you guys have any plan on when the Stage 2 and various other maps will be released for '11 EVOs? I couldn't find any updates on this since July 6th firmware update; a lot of us are looking forward to it!
