He was asking how to get the BETA software.. those are the instructions in the official COBB post.

 

Im about to order my ap, thought I saw somewhere that it had to have a certain serial number for it to work on an 11 model?

Hi all

are maps for 2011 MR/GSR still in beta? what sort of risks that we're facing? I really want to get AP for my 2011 MR but the "beta" thing is holding me back a bit.

Jon (bakaunchi) has put a lot of work into these so I personally wouldn't worry at all, he's done a nice job making the tunes. There is always going to be a small risk associated with flashing your ECU no matter what device, software, etc. you use to do it. I ran some alpha (pre-beta) software he sent me on my car and had no issues with it, and in the past month have racked on nearly 5k miles and probably flashed the ECU 20 times for various reasons.

i'm still technically running an "alpha" stage 1 map for my cossy and having no issues whatsoever.

 

nothing is beta anymore
the only reason its considered Beta is because we haven't added international support yet
