You'll want to connect it to your computer first just to make sure you got all the latest updates and maps before flashing your ECU.

I helped Jon with the alpha testing phase and he had me email him my logs and he then tweaked the maps accordingly.

 

Ar.. I guess I would need to wait till the release to put the filter back on then.

 

Maybe I missed it but what maps and part configurations are available in the beta maps.

I ordered an AccessPort this weekend from Perrin thinking they had maps available for 2011 EVO GSR. I found out they don't.

 

stock intake for the gsr period. theyll release more SOON!

I should have my Access Port on Monday or Tuesday. I can't wait. I'm gonna ask a dumb question...... The beta map is for a 'stock' car. would it be possible to put just a turbo inlet tube on and maybe UICP?

I thought I was a patient man but waiting for the stage 2 stuff is driving me crazy. Had a 2011 mr but didnt like the trans. And I read that the sst maps wouldnt be out for quite a while. Everyone tryed to tell me that the gsr is the one to buy if your a gear head but I thought it would have enough power. It's never enough. So I just traded my mr for a brand new gsr. Already have the AP, k&n typhoon intake, and turbo back exhaust. All I need is the proper tune for my cobb and Im good, for a while anyways. Does anyone out there know how I can get my impatient hands on the maps I need? Im dyin here. Do I just have to wait it out?
