Cobb AP for 2011 Evo X?
^i'm in the same boat as you right now with the same mods, but just on a mr. i had an 03 gsr for 6 and a half years and i sold it for this and i love it. i did some logging with my ap and i think my fuel trims aren't right so i'll be putting the stock airbox back on today, but i'm going to keep the inlet tube and uicp on in hopes that everything will function properly. i did 2 3rd and 4th gear pulls and a few minutes of higway cruising around 65 mph and the ltft and stft are a little wacky. also under wot around 23 psi of boost i'm getting as much as 3 counts of knock
I got my AccessPORT and loaded the beta firmware on it. It looked good to go. Tried to install it on my Evo and it could not communicate with the ECU. I called Cobb and they wanted me to send it back so they can take a look at it. The first mod for my Evo was an epic fail.
my cobb hard pipe kit arrived. i'll be doing some more logging.. lol just wish i could figure out how to use atr. I'll post up some new loggs at some point in the weekend after their installed.
heheh can't wait!

Cobb will figure it out, but it's BETA for a reason...
Picked one up at the Cobb BBQ where they did the initial setup and quick run through. I agree. Its a lot more responsive with less lag. Should have been like this from the factory. Did notice on the 91 Stage 1 map there is a slight hesitation on WOT between 3rd and 4th. It jumps around 7.5k for a second or two before shifting.
i got mine used for about $100 less than they are going for brand new. i just saw one sell for $300 recently...
imo, they're well worth the money spent if that's all you're going to be doing to the car mod-wise.

Interesting; I have been using the beta Stage 1 on my '11 for about a week now as well and I didn't feel much of a difference. It feels stronger all around, and even though the turbo lag feels similar, it feels a bit stronger before the 3K now. The biggest change for me acually was that the stock EVO was running out of breath after ~5000 RPM, while stage 1 keeps pulling better until redline..
In short, it feels close to stock in my opinion, except at the high RPM range..
What boost numbers are you hitting on 3rd and 4th gears? On 4th and 5th, I'm hitting 27 PSI, and 26 PSI on 3rd.

^ i'm actually on a custom map from Jon now that started out as the alpha stage 1... i'm no longer stock though so it would be comparing apples to oranges if you're still stock (i'm running a cat-back exhaust, test pipe, uicp and panel drop-in). i can see if i still have my logs around from the stage 1 pulls i made on the alpha map... i'll let you know.
