Cobb AP for 2011 Evo X?

Hey Guys,
I just got the AP,
At the moment, I don't have the $ for bolt on, but I wanted to install the beta map posted on COBB website for stock 2011 GSR.
Should I wait for the official release of the map or the beta map is safe enough at this time ?
Cant wait to drive the car and see the difference.
And sorry, I am new and trying to learn.

The Beta maps have already been tested and trued. It is perfectly fine to run our stage 1 maps on you vehicle since it is unmodified. If you have any questions or concerns, please email me at stephen.le@cobbtuning.com or you can always give us a call at 1-866-922-3059 .

Really? I was searching through the forums over the weekend and couldn't seem to find anyone with a similar problem. I also tested other computers to see if the files would download but they wouldnt. Ill keep searching. Worse case ill call cobb tomorrow.

Do you have accessport manager on your cpu? If so, plug in you AP and update the firmware to the latest beta version. The beta maps will all magically appear onto your AP.

It isnt working for me either. I have the 2.0.2.0 Version. It says update available but everytime I update it crashes the program.

For those of you that were able to grab the files is there any way you can upload the Stage 1 SF Intake map for the '11 GSR to a download site? With the servers down we aren't able to get them, but maybe someone did get them. Black&Boostin is right. I walked into their Austin office today and they said they were down and were hoping they'd be up in a few days. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
