Just got the Cobb SF intake for my '11 MR and installed the Stage 2 SF map 93 octane. Mods are turboback exhaust, stock boost control with restrictor pill removed, sf intake. If someone could take a look at these logs for me I'd greatly appreciate it. Datalog 1 is cruising on the highway at 65 mph and datalog 2 is a 3rd and 4th gear pull at WOT. Thanks in advance!

Stage2+AMSCAI+CBCS ACN91 v201 ETA?

I have an AEM intake + COBB 3 port BCS waiting for a stage 2 map for my GSR 2011 do any of you have an ETA for this map?

I was planning to use the AMS map (AMSCAI+CBCS ACN91 v201) and a F type 4mm 3 way hose adapter for the AEM intake lines on the 3BCS do you think this will work fine?

Any advice is appreciated

Yea they have SF and AMS maps I'm trying to get AEM map, do you know if the AEM flow similar to any of those?

AEM is actually closer to stock + high flow air filter (IMO), actually more restricted than SF or AMS.

do you you AFR gauge? I think running SF or AMS map will be fine but a bit rich for you. just monitor the boost, AFR and knock and make sure everything ok.

I have an intake too, but currently I'm running stage2+CBCS_ACN91. I expect it to be lean but no.. .it's actually pretty rich.

I am on a Stage 1 91 V201 map for a 11 GSR.

The car runs and idles great and definitely feels worlds better than the stock tune but here are some issues that I've seen in about 1 month of ownership.

I am not sure if this has anything to do with the OTS maps or if my car was just this way from the factory so bare with me.

1. it boosts to 25-26 PSI depending on weather and tapers to about 19-20 PSI. From what I've read from this thread and others is that this is okay. Is this true?

2. it knocks like crazy in low RPM/Loads (under 2K RPM). Read on forums that this is mostly due to the sensor picking up other engine noiseI also heard this is fine as the cylinder does not have enough pressure to cause damage at these levels. But what is exactly acceptable? I see knock sum of up to 10-11 at when I start moving, especially when I am on an incline. Occasional 1-2 at WOT and full Boost.

1. yes it's true. without boost controller and especially with the boost pill still in, that's pretty much it.

2. I wouldn't worry about the knock on low load. 1 or 2 at WOT and full boost is probably what you're looking for. I recommend you log a few pulls and make sure the 1 or 2 just come on for few seconds, mostly should be 0

thanks for the reply Tnn35!

Yeah the 1-2 knock sum count while WOT only appears for 1-2 seconds and it goes down to 0. Occasional 1 knock when I blip the throttle a bit.

I knew it was nothing to be too concerned about but just wanted to make sure I don't blow a gasket or something or even worse damage the internals.

Oh and I got a response from Cobb that they should be releasing the LWG maps on the next update. they say that should lower the peak boost/load a bit and get rid of the 1-2 counts at WOT.

I currently have a 2011 Gsr . I have the following mods:

#1 injen intake
#2 injen uicp
#3 hks hi power CBE
#4 ETS 200cel HFC
#5 Cobb AP

I've just downloaded the Ams stage 1-93 map ( since I think it's closer to the injen intake) felt fine , I tried stage 2- 93 and felt slower .

Does stage 2 have less agressive timing ? Should I just use the stage 1 instead ? Do you think the the ams map is close in design to theo injen ( only thing diff is the injen has that little tube inside the intake tract ( mr technology ??? )

Any ideas , thanx

do some data logging and compare both. I think you may run lean and high boost with stage 1.

Ok , but cobb only has a stage 2 for the ams intake and the sf intake , I can't find a stage 2 for the injen . I only was able to find a old injen stage 1 and s
Cosworth stage 2 on media shrank form bakaunci , I didn't see a stage 2 for the I jen there just a stage 2 but doesn't have any specifi intake so I assume it's for stock intake .

If any one can find a injen stage 2 I would appreciate a link to it.

Thanx guys

they seem ok you should log rpm as well it seems your getting a few counts of knock at what im guessing is around 6-7k but 1-2 counts i wouldnt worry about
