I just updated my AP and maps yesterday. The stage 2 93 oct for the 2011 MR has a 200 in the file name. The stage 1 was 300 I believe, so yes the 200 is newer.

Intake Calibrations

I just placed my order for the AP. I have a 2011 GSR. I am currently stock everything. I would like to also purchase a Cobb intake. Any idea how much longer until the map comes out supporting it with stage one?

Dont hold your breath. They said the end of last month beginning of this month they would be released still nothing. And to the people that say well use atr the reason alot of people bought the ap was for the canned tunes.More and more the use of the ap versus getting tuned locally has taken the benefit away from the ap for ease of use.

2011 Evo GSR Stage 2(with SF Intake) maps?

I've been going thru this thread, and see links to different sites where you can download different maps. But, I'd prefer to see them downloadable from the Cobb site. However when you go to: http://www.cobbtuning.com/Mitsubishi..._EVOX_Map_Grid I only see Beta maps for 2011/2012.

So, when I go to the Beta portion I see Stage2 93 v200 which if I am reading correctly says for stock intake. I'm currently using the Cobb SF intake so not sure which map to use.

Can anyone assist please?

The 2011-2012 gsr and mr intake specific maps have not been released yet. Most people will probably tell you to use cobb stage 2 cosworth panel filter map and log your knock and fuel trims but those are use at your own risk.

If I go perrin panel filter, bellmouth downpipe to HFC, and UICP, with the stock catback (possibly a FMIC), what's the best choice. Looking to maintain stock like quiet, but want to shoot for 330whp like my 08 GSR had. I'm thinking this combo may require a custom tune.

BakaUnchi,

Do you guys have a release date for the stage 1 and 2 maps for the HKS drop in panel for a 2011 GSR?

Hey guys, if you're running any of the new v200 calibrations, please take a moment to post your WOT datalogs to the COBB Forums so we can review and refine any potential issues that pop up. Once these maps get the thumbs up they will be pushed out of BETA and we can proceed to work on intake maps. There is no ETA on intake maps until we have enough data from the new v200 maps for all model year EvoX GSR and MR vehicles.

To answer a few common questions from this thread:

Q: Are these maps different from the v30x ones I've been running (2011)?
A: Yes, there are tweaks applied to various areas as well as numerous bug fixes to tables that were not properly exposed in previous software versions. There are also steps between fueling types that will increase/decrease power by way of fueling, timing, and boost between octane levels.

Q: Will I see more power in these maps than the previous v10x (2008-2010)?
A: Possibly; it would depend on your modifications. We hope to have dyno data soon!

Q: Do I need to remove the boost pill on my Stage2 vehicle?
A: If you are achieving the boost targets, leave your pill in place. If you aren't, try removing it!

Thank You,
-Braden @ COBB

Did you check the "check for beta firmware" box on options section of your AP manager? If not, do so, then reconnect and update your AP. Then try marrying it to your car....once married, you will most likely see the appropriate maps on there.

Sorry guys,I am a noob lurker here . Just want to say that the amount of work John puts in is amazing.
I have a 2011 GSR w AEM cold air intake . Which ap maps should I use given the lack of filter specific maps .
The problem is, Stage1 93 GSR v200 is for stock intake only .
Should I use the 2011 GSR Injen 93.ptm maps instead ?

Thanks for your patience

Boost inacurate

I have a 2011 GSR. My AP boost reading is off by almost 2psi.I have double checked my boost using my AP and my AEM boost gauge as well as the boost gauge on the dyno I was on a few weeks ago. The AEM and the dyno read the same. The AP reads HIGH. Anyone else experiencing this problem??

Hey Guys,

I just got the AP,

At the moment, I don't have the $ for bolt on, but I wanted to install the beta map posted on COBB website for stock 2011 GSR.

Should I wait for the official release of the map or the beta map is safe enough at this time ?

Cant wait to drive the car and see the difference.

And sorry, I am new and trying to learn.
