so baka what would you recommend for works panel filter and test pipe and catback.
Btw i live in jersey and it gets cold winter time. And also whats the difference between the cosworth stage 2 maps and just stage 2 maps? i logged my car with cosworth stage 2 map and first pull i instantly pulled 5 knock. with stage 2 map car runs normal 1-3 knock.

hey guys finally got my AP in, and im looking at the maps that BakaUnchi linked to, and im not sure what one to load up. i know ill need stage two since my mods are ETS intake, test pipe and cat back. but im not sure which stage 2 map to run. what does ACN mean. i know the LWG is low waste gate, and since i live in the north east should i run a LWG map for the cold temps? and if so which map would i run with normal temps?

Figured I'd post a quick result for anyone else interested with a similar setup, Cobb SF intake with turbo inlet and CBE. I flashed the 93 octane Stage 2 Cosworth LWG map (I remembered BakaUnchi saying the cosworths needed a lot of fuel up top and I'd rather start a little richer than leaner) and did consecutive pulls in all gears, except fifth and I never threw any knock higher then 3 randomly, counts of 2 appeared at 4000+ periodically. Boost was at 24.6(max) psi. So then I flashed the regular 93 Octane Stage 2 Cosworth map which initially looked to be ok. Boost did spike during a 2nd gear WOT pull to 26psi but no excessive counts of knock during normal driving. WOT pull in fourth gear revealed knock at 6000RPMs at 7, so I set that map aside. Re-flashed the 93 octane Stage 2 Cosworth LWG map for now which I'm completely content with. I've done a couple more WOT pulls in third gear, along with regular cruising which seems to be fine. Thanks again for the maps BakaUnchi.

I've definitely learned one thing, I NEED a WB02 like, now.

If you run 91 octane go with Cosworth stage 2 91 LWG (low wastegate )
If you run 93 octane Go with Cosworth stage 2 93 LWG

STAY Away from ACN Maps.....

My 2 cents....

Sorry for the newb question but what does ACN stand for?

I've been throwing around the idea of getting an AP for my 2011, I emailed Cobb today and this is what they said:

Currently the 2011 Evo is in public beta support like you have seen, but all of the feedback has been great! Currently we have Stage 1 maps available, but the cars can still be fully custom tuned. We are expecting a full release in January with Stage 1 and 2 support with multiple intakes. If you have any other questions, please let me know.

So, it seems like *crosses fingers* the full maps should be available soon for all of the intakes. We'll see.

ACN = arizona, cali, navada they got ****tier gas then other places around the US so i think timing is pulled to compensate for that

ALL 2011 maps were based on ACN91 and then Timing was added and fuel taken out for the other octanes. The ACN91 are by far the safest maps out there.

What people don't realize is that sometimes the car will swap from MAF to MAP tables and that can cause erratic fueling and knock if you are using an intake that the map is not made for. This may explain why you see some random knocks.

Ive seen that on the Cobb SF intake over a Stock Box on a few occasions. The Cosworth map is rich up top, but if your intake isnt hitting the proper load targets for that map it may swap to MAP and stuff can get whacky....

Baka,

I need to update my AP since it has been in the car since the initial release of the 11 maps.

Anyways, Santa brought my an ETS intake, and from what I gather, when I plug the AP back in and update I should get new maps. That being said, I can flash with the Injen 93 map on my GSR and be okay... right? Is there any logging that you would like me to do to help you?

Can anyone tell me how true this statement is? I've been waiting for some time now for the AP not to be in beta anymore so i can go ahead and buy it. I was going to do open source but i cant get myself to do it. I like the ease of use that the AP brings to the table. So if its true ill hang out for a bit. lol

All that Beta means is that there is no international support. Go ahead and get the AP for stage one and stage 2. The only thing that is really missing is support for the various intakes. For example, I have the Cobb SF intake, turbo inlet, and the Cobb TBE but there is no "2011 stage 2 map + SF intake." The closest thing is a Stage 2 Map + Cosworth Panel filter. Otherwise, the other maps are safe and reliable. I would say buy it and enjoy. You the later get a protune from Cobb that will be loaded to your AP. I say Cobb is the way to go.

Hey guys, quick question. I'm debating getting a Cobb AP but I come from VW's where reflashing is done by the tuning company. So I'm still very new.... A friend of mine has a friend with a 2008 that he bought an AP for, and he offered to let me borrow it just to get me a reflash with stock parts.

My question is, I know that I would need 2011 maps for a stock GSR, but are there certain versions of AP that only work on certain models? Any other info I should know about this? I don't want to fry my ECU, or blow my car up.
