^I've seen the same. Should be fine. Unless someone wants to chime in. If your having doubts and haven't purchased one yet, get the cobb. That's what I did (not that I had doubts). Wanted to purchase a 3 port.

They are close, most people use either but they are different part numbers and have different frequency ratings. Our maps are designed specifically for our solenoid.

I've noticed that some of the earlier questions regarding high idle were not answered. I am having the same thing happen. I just installed my COBB Turbo back exhaust this week and flashed to Stage 2 93 v403. I notice that my idle sits about 1000-1200rpm when dropping to neutral and coming to a stop. It occasionally will drop back down to around 600 but most of the time hangs at 1k.

What is the cause for this, is there a fix, and is it even worrisome?

For idle stability v403 maps use a 898 rpm idle, you can lower the idle back to stock with Access Tuner if you feel like the idle is too high. There is a Target Idle Monitor that will show exactly what rpm your car is trying to target.

Hey Eric,

You was gracious enough to help with maps for my Evo MR as I have a Mac and was unable to use the map scaling and tuner software.

Has there been anything new really with this last firmware update. Car seems to be doing good but I am still having issues with the sst upshifting on its own when you don't come to a complete stop.

MR AMS Map
I also have a Mac and used it to install the AMS stage two maps when they were available. If like to stay current with updates and changes to the maps, but since the car is my daily I don't want to make any changes on my own. It was great to have the turn key solution by being able to choose what I take and exhaust we were running based on manufacturers, but now COBB is placing ownership on all of us to make changes to the maps and hope we've got it right when flashing the cars. Can you guys at COBB still tailor maps to the installed equipment on the car?

If you are not able or do not feel comfortable making the intake changes yourself, PM us and we can definitely get you taken care of. We do not offer full e-tuning so if you are outside the scope of our OTS map offerings, you can contact a Protuner or Etuner listed on our website.

Thank you cobb for always looking for areas of improvement. With a mindset like this, i would be shocked if you ever suffered a loss in consumer base!
