good luck taking your motor to 8400 rpm. i wouldn't attempt it unless i rebuilt the motor bottom up.

thats not everyday driving.. just maybe once a month 2 the track and i do maybe 2-3 passes

7300 isn't the rev limiter on my car, it's over 7500, and I don't hit 90, but I do have a 6-speed.

You are saying you gain another 20mph in the last 800 rpm of 3rd gear? Wow.

my limiter is in the mid 8's and last time i took a ride with 2 buddies and just shifted 1-2,2-3 normal and when i shifted in to 4th and decellerated my buddy said we were going 110. and i didnt accelerate in 4th , just to decel..

well i havent launched on the new clutch yet so they only result in 2.3 60' and 13.7@105. i shift like im just driving in town.. @ about 7k .. havent taken it as high on the track as i have on the street.. i will next track visit.. i just had a son so it may be a month or 2

Yah, well after jman said this, "good luck taking your motor to 8400 rpm. i wouldn't attempt it unless i rebuilt the motor bottom up," you said this, "thats not everyday driving.. just maybe once a month 2 the track and i do maybe 2-3 passes," so that would mean you only do this 8400 rpm business at the track, but I guess not. It's beginning to sound a bit fishy...the 8400rpm is probably exaggerated, as is the 110mph in 3rd gear claim.
