Well, can you name one car faster than the Cobra for 30k or less? How about 40k or less? The only thing even remotely close to it is the C5 Z06 and C6, which are both over 50k.

I don't know about Mach 1s, but what's wrong with LS1s? They can go 11s even more easily than Evos. They basically need good tires, an exhaust, a cam, and a tune. You'd have to be a fool to not realize the awesome potential of LS1s and S/C Cobras. They can go very fast for VERY little money...

Running at the track the last time i went a LS1 doing 11.6@120+ on 93 octane , no NO2 ,no supercharger nothing . Yeah thats not cool huh . Grow up, fast is fast no mater what it is . Even the best/fastest carand drivers have bad run's somethime , you (or who ever raced that Cobra) didnt concer the world you just ran a 13.nothing .

 

It is called reality and deserved respect. When i had exhaust,cams, and tune; (Vishnu 1+) I was able to beat an 03 Cobra's times that was pullied,exhaust etc; but I still respected his car and realized that his 115mph trapspeeds were impressive and put him a decent 60ft away from running 11s. Replace the Nittos with Slicks and he would of turned the tables. BTW How many Evo guys show up to the track and run disappointing times? Alot from what I have seen. So are Evos overated because 70% of the drivers suck and can't get a 350 whp car into the low 12s? In other words, Cobras and Evos are both capable cars in the right hands but can appear overrated in an inept drivers hands. Just food for thought.

haven't ran it with the new combo at the track.

I am upgrading my axles first.

My old combo on nitto's ran 12.2@119 with just a pulley (2.8), exhaust, cai, chip and tune. I put 464 down then.

So , I am hoping for 11.6-11.7@123-124 on DR's.

 

Bad resolution will cause that...if the camera isn't a hig pixeled camera, it will have dark and light spots.

If you look at the slip, you can tell it's not a case of bad resolution. The resolution also has no effect on the fact that the timeslip says the wrong lane won.

Why would all you cobra guys get on here and call individuals out? Evo forum nobody gives a sh** about your cars and you sh**y camera skills.

 

I care for Cobras. They rock. With my Stage 3 I called them "Snacks" but with bolt-ons pulley and slicks they are deadly Snakes and no joke. I beat the majority of Cobras that I got to run but I was a lil more modded than your average Evo. My stage 3 would walk most pullied Cobras from a roll. However, with slicks in 1/4 mile it was a war. 1.5 and 1.6 60 fts make them mid 11 capable with less than 450 whp. As u can tell I respect the Cobra and would of been happy with one but I got the Evo and was very happy with it. The underdog roll was fun but all good things eventually come to an end. Cobras and Evos rock in their own right and to each his own. Mame u need to get out more because your sense of reality needs a lil tweaking.
