Regardless, I think it could be a lot of fun, 4 cars, 4 different tuning/upgrades approaches 1 goal.

That doesn't hurt anyone's feelings. Just makes you look like a buffoon.

since you mention "smacktalking" what positive role do YOU play in the evo community?????

ROFLMAO, I think a tear came out.
Thanks Sergio but I am not really concern from peoples comments. Housedj has a great project which I particulary support however I must admit that there are two whole worlds : the talking and the talking and proving.
I definately have a new strategy which I want to share because it only pertains to me, in case someone missed it, all my tracks passes on the MR(about 85)have been done in 1st to 4th gear except a couple of runs which I cross the line in 5t gear. Why mentioning 85mph? because that is when my third gear dies.
After analizing my unique power and torque curve from the last Dyno/tunning with Al I come to realize that my car lacks in top end and shines exceptionally in midrange. I will run my car at the track utilizing my 5th gear from now on.
On the same note, I am planning on doing the experiment of running from first, to second to third to fith gear(skipping 4th gear). My spool up and torque is ideal and it looks like my car pulls significantly harder in 5th gear at 85mph than in 4th gear at 85mph.
This is just a theory but if things are planned the way I am planning I might perhaps seen the expected higher trap speed that everyone has been missing from me.
I am stuck with the clutch in my house, Mynes performance wouldn't do my clutch install because of their policy, IAPERFORMANCE hasn't answer the phone my last 5 phone calls and Ray (mechanic) is on vacation and I am waiting for him to return soon so that I can install my clutch.
It is my personal project to obtain the 11's with my current configuration. If I and houseDJ manage to run the 11's with stock turbo I think it will give the Evo owners a different perpesctive about the capability of the stock turbo. This waiting time is makig me sick

It kind of surprise me but on the same note I fully respect their policy. As per the dealer, I might take it there, I need to make sure I can get a decent disccount of any kind (Military disccount).
The dealer charges you 12 hours labor (two full days) on the MR, that is about $950 for labor. Spoolin, what is a reasonable price for the dealer's labor?

my dealer here charge 8 hours, u dont need 12hrs to do a clutch on a mr or any evo for that matter.

I talked to the dealer this morning and they say bring it on Monday morning to have it ready by Tuesday. I plan on having the car running before the 17th.
GTkage,
The dealer is O'rilleys Mitsubishi in Tucson. I might be able to get it cheaper but they say somewhere around 11-12 hours labor on the MR which is one hours more than the 5 speed.
