well went to the track today and was a lil disappointed. i was hoping for 11's and just could'nt quite get there. there were 4 evos there today and i think i had the quickest time. temps were around 53 degrees and nobody could get traction all day. i got the new exedy twin hd in and had to adjust the clutch since it wasn't disengaging all the way. best 60ft. was a 1.67 and of course i missed 4th(only time i missed all day). anyway, heres my best run:
60ft- 1.7 (crappy)
1/8 et- 7.7
1/8 mph-88.7
1/4 et- 12.0
1/4 mph- 114.8
i had the tires at 31psi and traction still wasn't that great. still had a small boost leak. car was building 13-14psi w/the 2 step and by the end of the day was only boosting 9-10psi. i found that the gasket on the licp was blown out and we put copper gasket maker around it last night and it held for awhile today but then started leaking again at the track. oh well, room for improvement i guess.

You got the power, just need the launch. The 1.67 would have done it probably. Why 31psi in the tires? I go as low as 22-24psi on the tires just to get traction and make 10-20 less HP I believe.

yeah, the only reason i didn't lower the tire pressure is because i thought maybe i could hit a 1.67 60ft again and not risk losing my et. i should have no problems hitting an 11 sec once the car and conditions on the track are better. i'll have it right for next sunday at rockingham, nc.
Me and a few other Evo's and SRT-4s are planning on making a trip to Rockingham this summer. Maybe I'll see you there.
