You have put together a poor set of mods without a tune, so you can't expect to run well. Your boost will always be lower on the drag strip, because you're never below 5500rpm, which means you're starting at a point in each gear where you're seeing 2000rpm worth of boost taper.

 

what do you mean by poor set of mods? i was going to get it tuned after i got cams, but should i go ahead and get a full tune?

 

just wanted to update that im geting my tranny done at the dealer. they oked it even with my relitivly extensive amount of mods and aftermarket clutch and flywheel.
