The HTA3076 isn't a direct bolt on. That's the reason it was produced in the first place. To give a direct bolton replacement for stock turbos and maximize the power output. Our RED is exactly what we were looking for. We've always known that the NON-stock appearing was available, that's not what we wanted. I'm sure that many are in the same boat. Here we go again going way off top in
a thread about Trent's car.

the question i want to know about the red is how it will respond to a stroker. will it choke in the high rpms like the green does due to the small exhaust housing?

i really want my cake and to eat it too. I am mostly a drag racer, but i really want a turbo that spools fast enough to autocross in as well.

Can someone dig up some track times on the quickest and fastest evo with a 30r. Post the results when you find them please and we will compare the times.

Thanks Trent

I don't think you're gonna find any 3076 times in the 130's. The fastest I recall was in the mid 120's. And the excuse then was, "well, this turbo is more for all around use, not just drag racing."

Seems to me the red is by far the better "all around use" turbo.

I'm thinking there will be a 2 month wait very soon on the Reds. FP better start building them around the clock. Great driving Trent!

I dont know for sure, I think more people would have more success with the RED vs. 30r, I say that because.....My first couple passes last night the 2 step was too low, and if i would have had a 30r on I would have run 11 something instead of 10.5. Another thing is shifting, you dont need to power shift the turbo because it comes right back into boost, which is perfect for a guy that does not drag race alot and is not used to shifting fast or power shifting. I think there will be alot of 10 sec cars with this turbo for that reason, in a couple months people will forget all about how fast I ran.
