What times should i expect to see???
I am wondering if this is a possibility. I ran a 13.5 in my Evo stock and had a crappy launch so i have done some mods since and was wondering if i can break into the 12's. I have a 3in down pipe test pipe and straight exhaust past that, MBC, intake, and ported exhaust manifold, stainless stell braided clutch line. I just ran it yesterday and got a 13.30 and it was 99 degrees out and pretty humid. So i think if i put in racing gas and go in a few weeks when its 60 or so hopefully i tink i can do it, do you think it is possible
. I had ****ty 60fts too and when it was cooler at the begining of the week the cars was much stronger. Please tell me what you guys think.
I just want a 12.99 nothing more just to break that magic number before winter rolls around. Thanks

The clutch is holding up perfect, it has a little over 10,000 on it and with the new clutch line its very good and launches excellent, i got a 1.79 60 ft yesterday so it is still working for now, i know an upgraded clutch would help alot but until she lets out on me i cant afford to upgraed unfortunately. Thanks for the comments, please keep them coming
What did you trap on that 13.30? Its a long climb to 12.90s from 13.30, even in better weather. I suggest you get fuel management to utilize all that exhaust work and lean it out up top. I think that would put you deep in the 12s.

i know it is a decent size gap to fill but ive seen some run 13.2 stock, so i think its possible, i might find this sat. its supposed to be 70 for a high and i guess there is a fun days at our track so ill see what i can muster up out of the Evo.
Sounds possible to hit a 12.9 with your mods, under ideal conditions.
However, it's also a question of how much more wear your clutch can take before you get there. If your clutch gets tired from too much practicing, you will never see 12's.
it might be fine now, but a good hard launch on an AWD car is probably equivalent to about 2,000 to 3,000 miles of easy city driving. Spend a day at the track and you could effectively burn 15,000 miles of life from your clutch. I'd start saving now...these aren't dragsters you're driving, and they were not built with repeated drag racing launches in mind!

Well i went today and i got a 13 flat, and a 1.799 60 ft. all in all it was warmer than expected but i ran on 92 octane and had no chance to get 100 unleaded, if i would have i think it would have made it but i am very happy. The clutch is holding up awsome, has not slipped at all!!!
