Ive been looking around the forums alot latley and i was thinking about going for the Stock Clutch record. Everybody seems to have a record so what do you guys think? If i get the car light enough then it should last awhile. Anyone know the Fastest Stock Clutch Car as of now??

 

i think that will be a hard record to prove anybody can just say you have a stock clutch since nobody can see it. but im still interested to see whast the fastest time out there for the stocker

 

I know johnbradley went 11.5

BTW. The way you drive it does not matter how light the car is because you will destroy the stock clutch!

there was a guy here in norcal that went 10.8 on the stock clutch, stock block and gt35r. evo 9 RS. lets just say that was the last straw for this clutch. it pretty much made it through the traps and back to the pits and was done!

I think i have a good posibility of breaking this, lets see what happens in march, im making 418whp and 419tq with the stock clutch and have 48k miles on the car. The clutch can last you just have to take good care of it. 2500k shifts and mostly highway driving helps a lot.

 

damn didnt read the the 10.8 post, never mind well, im stock turbo stock clutch so its a different league

 

^^^the same guy ran a 11.5@119 on stock turbo and stock clutch!!!
